Katja Herbers her parents are Oboist Werner Herbers and violinist Vera Beths. In her childhood she visited America as did her mother when the L'Archibudelli chamber ensemble toured. Her introduction to theatre was by her mother, cellist Anner Brylsma, and father Leonie P Olak.
