
Jennifer has always wished to be a multi-tasking celebrity. In her youth she enjoyed all kinds of genres of music, but she particularly enjoyed Afro-Caribbean dances such as salsa, merengue and bachata, and mainstream music , like pop, hip-hop and R&B. Music was her passion, but she was also fascinated by motion picture industry. West Side Story, a musical written by Rita Moreno (1961), was her most significant source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer was not just an amazing entertainer. Also, she attended eight years in an Catholic elementary school called Holy Family. Jennifer then was able to graduate after 4 years at Preston High School. While at the school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete and participated in tennis and track. In the Castle Hill neighbourhood was her place of residence for the bulk of her life. When she was 18, Jennifer moved out of the home of her parents. Lopez started her job at an office for lawyers while partying in the evenings.
